ARRIVE CHONGQING
Arriving in Chongqing in the afternoon, you can enjoy a night tour of Hongya Cave after dinner. Originally known as Hongya Gate, it's an ancient city gate situated at 88 Riverside Road, Yuzhong District.
CHONGQING – YANGTZE CRUISE
After breakfast, proceed to Chongqing City Zoo, formerly West District Park, located in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, was opened in January 1955 and covers 43.5 hectares. Attracting nearly 3.6 million visitors annually, it functions as a large urban zoo with purposes including popular science promotion, animal protection, scientific research, and leisure and entertainment. Notably, it houses the highest number of giant pandas among all zoos. After lunch continue to visit Liziba Station is a distinctive elevated side platform station on Line 2 of Chongqing Rail Transit, situated on the eighth floor of Chongqing Rail Transit Corporation's property building. Next to, Ciqikou Ancient Town, originally named Longyin Town, is situated at 1 Cinan Street, Shapingba District, Chongqing, in the northeastern part of Shapingba along the Jialing River. Positioned approximately 5 kilometers north of Shapingba's central area, 14 kilometers from Chongqing's city center, and 3 kilometers south of Shijieping, the town covers a total area of 325,000 square meters. Next, The Chongqing People's Great Hall comprises the Grand Hall along with the East, South, and North Wings, covering a total area of 66,000 square meters. The Grand Hall itself occupies 18,500 square meters and stands at a height of 65 meters. Next, Raffles Place ChaoTianMen Square is located at 8 Jie Sheng Street, Chaotianmen, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. Its iconic design is known as "Sailing to the Sky." After dinner, the bus will take you to Chaotianmen Wharf to board the ship.
Three Gorges
After breakfast proceed to Fengdu Ghost City (Exclude Optional Excursion: Romance of The Three Kingdoms RMB290 per pax), located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Fengdu County, Chongqing, is a historical and cultural city with origins dating back to the Han Dynasty. Renowned as the "City of the Underworld" or "Capital of Ghosts," it has a nearly 2,000-year history and serves as a concentrated reflection of Chinese ghost culture. The scenic area is divided into the Ghost City Famous Mountain Scenic Area and the Ghost King Stone Carving Scenic Area, featuring key attractions such as the Naihe Bridge, Ghost Gate Pass, Eighteen Layers of Hell, Hengha Temple, Baoen Temple, and Wangxiang Terrace.
Yangtze cruise
After breakfast visit to The Wushan Lesser Three Gorges (Exclude Optional Excursion: White Emperor City RMB290 per pax) spans 65 kilometers, showcasing diverse landscapes such as water, springs, streams, pools, beaches, cascading waterfalls, and pebbles. The area is characterized by cliffs, peaks, exotic rocks, patterns, textures, colors, and numerous karst caves with varying sizes, heights, and styles, including underground rivers.Next to, Qutang Gorge, the initial stretch of the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River, also known as Kuixia, spans from Baidi City in Fengjie County, Chongqing, to Daxi in Wushan County. Notable for its steep cliffs, rapid currents, and rugged terrain, the gorge is marked by the prominent Kuimen and Yanxiu Piles at its entrance. Next, Wuxia Gorge, originating from Daxi Town, Wushan County, and extending to Guandu Kou in Badong County, covers a total length of 46 kilometers, earning recognition as a majestic gorge. Renowned for its picturesque and secluded beauty, Wuxia Gorge boasts deep valleys, steep cliffs, layered peaks, swirling clouds, winding rivers, and numerous twists and turns, making it internationally famous. Next, Xiling Gorge, named after Xiling Mountain in Yichang, Hubei, stretches from Xiangxi in Zigui County, Hubei, to Nanjin Pass in Yichang City, covering a total length of 76 kilometers. It is historically known for its winding waterway, unique rock formations, numerous sandbanks, and exciting boat journeys, making it the longest gorge in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Divided into four sections from top to bottom is Xiangxi Wide Valley, Upper Xiling Gorge, Mainan Wide Valley, and Lower Xiling Gorge it spans Enshi Prefecture's Badong County, Zigui County in Yichang City, and Xiling District in Yichang. The famous Northern Song dynasty politician and writer, Ouyang Xiu, once praised the area with the phrase "Xiling's mountains and waters are among the finest."
YICHANG - WUHAN
After breakfast, visit to The Three Gorges (Includes Cable Car) Dam tourist area, located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, opened to the public in 1997 and is a designated national 5A-level tourist attraction. Encompassing Tanziling Park, 185 Park, and the Diversion Memorial Park, it spans 15.28 square kilometers and centers around the world's largest water conservancy project, the Three Gorges Project. Combining modern engineering, natural scenery, and cultural landscapes, the area offers sightseeing, educational, leisure, and entertainment services. Jingzhou Ancient City, situated in Jingzhou District, Hubei, is a significant birthplace of Chu culture and the Three Kingdoms culture. Divided into three layers which is water city, brick city, and earth city—it features a diameter of 3.75 kilometers, a city wall circumference of 10.5 kilometers, and six city gates. The brick city, with a height of 9 meters, is constructed with specially made blue bricks mixed with lime and glutinous rice paste. Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, a century-old commercial street in Wuhan, spans 1600 meters and is situated in the central area of Hankou. Starting from Yangtze River Avenue and running through Zhongshan Avenue and Jinghan Avenue to Jiefang Avenue, it is renowned for its historical significance and vibrant commercial activities.
